The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) stipulates that each child must be assigned a key person.

In this Virtual Classroom we explore the important role of the key person and how every child's learning and care is tailored to meet their individual needs.

This interactive session will:

  • Raise educators' awareness of the significance and value they have as a key person
  • Support the understanding of the key person requirements of the EYFS
  • Recognise the importance of secure attachments for babies and toddlers
  • Consider how the overarching principles of the EYFS should shape the key person approach of early years providers

Suitable for: early years educators, mangers and leaders, home-based educators.

Attendees will receive a 50% off time limited discount code of our publication Being a Key Person in an Early Years Setting

This Virtual Classroom takes place over two x 1.5 hour sessions on: Friday 12 & 19 April, 10.00am - 11.30am
